Imperial Dodgers Shoot held 19th July 2008
On 19th July an additional shoot was held at Jubilee range for those not at the Imperial. 15 shooters (11 TR and 4 F/TR) enjoyed a day of mixed weather. This shoot made history by being the first competition at Jubilee to start not only on time, but 10 minutes early!

We took the opportunity of trying string shooting: 2+17 in 20 minutes at 500, 600 then 400yds. As a change from the usual scoring we ignored V bulls and scored to one decimal place, as the electronic targets allow. This made life complicated for those working out the results, but Sarah Brown (small bore shooter from Dundee, who also took about 200 photo's, of which a few are shown) did a sterling job of adding up individual scores, which Mike Ozmond turned into a results table. Mike had the final results out within 6 minutes of the last shot being fired. Whether decimal scoring made any difference to the final results, we are still working on.

£130 was raised for Kilmaveonaig Church in Blair Atholl.

Fresh from putting in the highest TR/F score at 500yds, Milton Park shoots at 600yds while Gerry Hogston scores.
Shooters in clover. Adam MacPherson scores at 400yds for Kenny MacDonald, the overall winner.

Rain at 500yds. It's not often you see a pinkfoot in Glen Tilt at this time of year, even in this weather.

But the sun shone on the righteous at 600yds!
