LOCHBOISDALE Competition 28th Sep 2008 - Results
The competition was shot in reasonable weather with occasional drizzle and alternating dull and very bright light, which caused some problems. For the first time for several years there were three teams rather than the usual two.

West of Scotland A won by a good margin of 585.67 to West Atholl's 561.67 and West of Scotland B's 551.40.

Highest individual scores were: Kenny MacDonald 74.12; Clare Halleran, John MacDonald and Richard Scott 74.10; Eddie Jones and John Potter 74.9.
The Winning West of Scotland A team and their mascot with the Lochboisdale trophy: a Starr carbine dating from 1859, presented to NRA over 60 years ago as a prize for a competition between Home Guard Units.
