SRA
Long Range Championship Results
The
weekend was marked by very difficult wind. By Saturday
afternoon it was so troublesome that the last shoot of
the day, at 1000yds, was won with 66.6v. The exception
was the first detail on Sunday, which was shot in a dead
calm at 900yds. By the second detail at 10am it was as
bad as ever.
Mike Barton shot consistently well over the weekend, including
a winning 74.8v at 1000yds in very difficult conditions for
the Irvine, giving him a well deserved win of the Grand Agg,
as well the Marjorie Keir ( after a very close shoot-off with
John Potter) and the Saturday Agg. Tim Kidner won the Stansfield
with a 74.8v in very difficult conditions, the Sunday Agg and
the "Long and Short".
West Atholl 'A' ( Mike Barton, Kenny MacDonald, Richard Scott
and John Potter) won the Team Trophy.

Putting
up the gazebos again guaranteed that it did not rain.
