Four universities entered seven teams (six more than last year!). 400yds was shot in dry weather but a very tricky wind. At 500yds there was much less wind but torrential rain and poor visibility. Time constraints and weather led to a decision not to shoot 600yds. Rain stopped as soon as shooting finished. Edinburgh A were the winners, captained by Robert Morgan (ex-Dollar) who shot one of the two possibles of the day. Second was a combined Aberdeen/Robert Gordon's team captained by Alex Stewart, who shot the other possible and was the individual winner with a laudable 99.11 ex 100.
