Crosses Team Shoot - Atholl vs Cawdor

Many thanks to all those who gave up their Father's Day to attend...and a special thanks to the Cawdor members who helped out in the butts at target changeover time.
The weather for June was not brilliant but could have been a lot worse..considering the rain other parts of the UK have been experiencing!
Cawdor had a TR team of 6 and an F-TR team of 4.
WARC had a TR team of 7 and an F-TR team of 9 (but only 6 returned cards)
Due to time constraints, we changed the format from 2&15 at 500, 600 and 900 yards to 2&15 at 500 yards and 2&20 at 900 yards, making the HPS 175.35
The results were decided on the top 4 scores in each TR and F-TR team, making the HPS 700.140
We retired to the Atholl Arms Hotel for tea at 15:30 and subsequent presentation of prizes by WARC Chairman, John MacDonald.
Summary of Results:
The Target Rifle Cup was retained by WARC with a score of 681.75 versus 660.57
Crosses were won as follows:
Gold - K.MacDonald (WARC), 173.27
Silver - K.Baxby (WARC), 170.19
Bronze - E.Munro (CRC) 170.14
The F-Class TR Jug was retained by Cawdor with a score of 632.32 versus 623.31
Medals were won as follows :
Silver - M.Barton (WARC), 170.14 (with an admirable 99.7 at 900 yards.)
Bronze - J.Donaldson-Webster (CRC), 167.9
Bronze - P.Binns (CRC), 158.8
We look forward to 2020 at Cawdor.
